Levi Emmanuël Wattimena (born on May 30, 1997, in Tilburg, Netherlands) is a versatile artist, specializing in painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Based in The Hague, he draws inspiration from a deep fascination with human beings, people, Moluccan traditions and relationships. Levi’s works are each a tribute to the human form, the beautiful connections we share, and the wondrous shapes we take. 

Levi's thought process is characterized by playfulness and experimentation. With experience in painting and a background in fashion design, he explores a wide range of disciplines, including illustration, sculpture, knitting, textile processing, and printing. His creative exploration yields intriguing works that invite the viewer to join his universe. Not only visually appealing, but also an invitation to step into his artistic world.

Levi’s Moluccan roots deeply influence his artistry, infusing his work with rich cultural heritage and traditions. This connection to his ancestry brings a unique depth and perspective to his pieces, celebrating his heritage and its impact on his creative expression.
